SOTRADEL pursues a strategy of development, according to a progress approach around four axes :
Quality - Security - Environment - Corporate Social Responsibility (a voluntary compliance of social and ecological responsibility of companies).
These axes are inseparable and form the rules which gather human and material resources in order to satisfy customers’ requirements.
A voluntary Quality and Sustainable Development Management :
- All sites and activities are certified ISO 9001, and all of the warehouses are under certification ISO 14001 (one warehouse is already certified).
- The road transport subsidiaries of SOTRADEL commit themselves to reduce CO2 emissions : they signed the "Charte CO2" with ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and DREAL (Regional department for the environment, development and housing).
- SOTRADEL gets involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (a voluntary compliance of social and ecological responsibility of companies) : ISO 26000.
- The ADEME selected SOTRADEL for the "Plan national de valorisation des déchets" (national plan for waste reuse) in April 2011 : SOTRADEL was the only logistics services provider among 50 companies selected in France.
- SOTRADEL was nominated, in November 2011, for the "Prix Entreprises et Environnement" (Business and Environment Awards), awarded by the French Ministry of Sustainable Development and ADEME, for its involvement in global sustainable logistics confirming its "eco-citizen" behaviour. SOTRADEL was the only transport/logistics provider nominated.
SOTRADEL warehouse management complies with French legal warehousing rules - "Installations Classées pour la Protection de l’Environnement (ICPE) - rubriques 1510-2662-2663-2925".
